Covid 19 Updates – August 2021

BEACH/PUBLIC AREA BAN: Between 10 pm and 5am.
ENTERTAINMENT: Maximum 1 live musician for background music. No dancing.
MASKS: Use of masks required indoors, except for while eating and drinking.

Dear Members and Guests,

Due to the large and consistent wave of new COVID-19 cases that Aruba is experiencing and the large number of hospitalizations, stricter measures are being reinstated to curb the contagion and on Saturday, August 21, 2021, the Government of Aruba held a press conference to share the new regulations.

The stricter rules outlined below go into effect tomorrow, Sunday, August 22, 2021 until September 1st. and will be reevaluated after that time.

BUSINESS CLOSING TIME (with no exceptions): 9pm – 5am.
CURFEW: 10pm to 5am.
CAPACITY: 50% of customer capacity allowed (supermarkets, movies, funerals, boats, etc.)
RESTAURANTS/BARS: Everyone needs to be seated. Maximum 4 persons at tables (indoors and outdoors).
GATHERING BAN: No agglomeration (awaiting details on max persons allowed).
SOCIALIZATION: No visits at homes, no parties, social gatherings, etc.
SPORT: No competitions, training only.
