What can you expect while in Aruba?

At the Resort

We are pleased to announce that the COVID-19 situation in Aruba has improved to the point where the measures imposed by the Government to control the spread of the virus have been lifted. However, within these broad guidelines, individual Companies still have the authority to impose internal protocols in consideration of the well-being of their patrons and staff.

While our staff continue to be diligent in sanitizing guest rooms, hallways, elevators, pool and beach furniture and common areas with special attention to high-touch zones that affect both guests and employees, below is some specific on-property protocol information:

  • Social distancing of at least 1.5 meters – or approximately 6 feet – between staff and other non-family members is highly recommended.
  • We kindly ask in-house guests to wear a mask when in enclosed areas – e.g. the lobby, elevators, corridors and where social distancing is not possible. Masks are not required outdoors but social distancing is highly recommended and encouraged.
  • There are hand sanitizing stations in the lobby and in the public areas which we recommend our guests to use.
  • Signs indicate the number of persons allowed in our elevators.
  • We kindly ask our guests to make payments by credit card as much as possible and limit the use of cash.

  • Housekeeping services are offered every other day and employees will only enter rooms if additional service is requested. Guests can request additional cleaning services by placing the sign on the door with “Service now” displayed.
  • All Housekeeping employees will wear masks and gloves while cleaning rooms.
  • Rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each stay.
  • Exchanges for fresh pool and beach towels can be made at the Towel Hut between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. These towels should be returned to the Towel Hut on the day of departure.

On the Island

Specific measures are no longer mandated but within the Government’s broad guidelines, individual Companies can determine their own internal policies.

  • Social distancing of at least 1.5 meters- or approximately 6 feet – is encouraged.
  • Wearing masks is highly recommended indoors and even outdoors where social distancing is not possible or where there are strangers.
  • Hand sanitizing is still highly recommended and encouraged.

For your information, the one closest to us is located at La Cabana Beach Resort – just next door – and there is a flyer in your room, with details for making appointments. Please feel free to contact our management team for further details.

For U.S. citizens and non-U.S. citizens flying from Aruba to the U.S.A., the U.S. Government has removed all Covid Testing requirements.

What do you need to do before returning home?

In an effort to make it easier for our guests to get a test before returning home – especially residents of or in-transit through the USA, Aruba has established multiple test centers in Resorts or close to the tourist centers of the island. For Paradise Beach Villas members and guests, the closest test center is at La Cabana, right next door.
