What should you do pre arrival?

First of all, you should check to see if what is specifically required 1) prior to traveling to Aruba and 2) what you will be required to do when you return from Aruba. Note that the conditions may change so please familiarize yourself with all the latest regulations.

COVID-19 Testing

Please make sure you have the proper pre-testing as required by the Aruba Authorities. For specific requirements, please visit www.aruba.com and review the Health requirement section.

If you do the test upon arrival at Queen Beatrix International Airport in Aruba, you are required advise the Front Desk on arrival at the Resort and stay in your room until you receive the results of the test. If you require, the Resort can make arrangements for items of Food and Beverage to be delivered to your room for consumption while you await your test results.

COVID-19 Insurance Coverage ​

Health Insurance coverage is required. The latest information is also available on the arubavisitorsinsurance.com and review the information.

It is a requirement that you complete your ED card on line between seventy-two (72) and four (4) hours prior to arrival in Aruba.

We also highly recommend that you complete your Paradise Beach Villas pre-registration form (available on our website www.paradisebeachvillas-aruba.com ) which saves a lot of time upon check-in at the Resort.

What can you expect while in Aruba?

At the Resort

Paradise Beach Villas considers the well-being of our members, guests and colleagues our top priority. We are committed to upholding the best practices and have added enhanced protocols in an effort to allay any fears you may have surrounding COVID-19. In this regard, we are following the recommendations and guidelines from our Government and local health authorities who are guided by experts at the World Health Organization (WHO) and other reputable Health organizations like the Centre for Disease Control (CDC) for the protection of yourself, other guests and the Paradise Beach Villas team.

Our staff is being extra diligent in sanitizing guest rooms including – bathrooms, door handles, table and chairs, light switches and thermostats, telephones and remotes, safety latches and locks, corridors, elevators, pool and beach furniture and common areas. As we take every measure to maintain a healthy, safe environment, we have enhanced our cleaning protocols to include additional sanitation and cleaning routines several times per day with special attention to high-touch areas that affect guests and employees.

 

Some important specific on-property protocols are as follows:

  • Hotel guests and employees are requested to observe social distancing of at least 1.5 meters between staff and other non-family members
  • We kindly ask members and guests to wear a mask when in enclosed areas – e.g. the lobby, elevators, corridors etc. etc.
  • Masks are not required outdoors but social distancing is highly recommended and encouraged
  • At the main entrance, Security takes a precautionary temperature check and there are hand sanitizing stations in the lobby and in the public areas which we expect and recommend our members and our guests to use.
  • Signs indicate the number of persons allowed in our elevators.
  • We kindly ask our guests to make payments by credit card as much as possible and limit the use of cash.
  • Food and Beverage facilities on property have their own protocols are you are requested to familiarize yourself and comply with them. Room delivery and take out is also an available option for your added convenience.
  • Housekeeping services are reduced and employees will only enter rooms after explicit permission of the guests and when the guest is not in the room. Guests can request additional cleaning services. Please place the sign on the door with “Service now” displayed to indicate that you need service.
  • All Housekeeping employees will wear masks and gloves while cleaning rooms.
  • Rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each stay.
  • Exchanges for fresh towels can be made at the Towel Hut during specific hours and the towels should be returned to the Towel Hut on the day of departure.

On the Island

  • Wearing of masks are not mandated by Government but by law, individual Companies can determine their own policies. 
  • Social distancing of at least 1.5 meters is encouraged

Recently, the CDC mandated that travelers entering the USA must show positive proof of a COVID-19 test conducted at least three (3) days prior to entry. Even though the overall situation is improving, we strongly encourage you to continue to adhere to the protocols that are still in place.  We are all in this together and will make it through with vigilance, patience and care.

What do you need to do before returning home?

In an effort to make it easier for our guests to get a test before returning home – especially residents of or in-transit through the USA, Aruba has established multiple test centers in Resorts or close to the tourist centers of the island. For Paradise Beach Villas members and guests, the closest test center is at La Cabana, right next door.
